Vector maps

Vector historical country maps by year

The GeaCron database contains vector maps as a sequence of political entities georeferenced by vector polygons since 3000 BC. These polygons are formed by a series of points defined by longitude and latitude. In the example, a sequence of the political entity Portugal is represented as an independent polygon separated from its natural location. As the configuration of this political entity varies throughout history, it can also be seen that it affects the polygons of other adjacent political entities.

The vector maps asset described here belongs to the GeaCron Universal Historical dataset, which we can offer to those institutions, organizations or companies interested.

These assets can provide very relevant information for those Artificial Intelligence applications that require diverse and high-quality universal historical information.

Our intention is to provide the entire data set, with this unique universal historical information, exclusively.

Here you can access the document where the different Geacron Universal History assets, that we can offer, are described.

Here we also describe, specifically, the methodology and references related to our databases.

Here you can access the offer on all GeaCron assets.
